September Rope Rescue
Ontario Rope Rescue Team came in on Saturday September 6 to cross train with the Hillcrest and Orchard Park Fire COmpanies. Their team has been in existence since 1991. They have trained in both high and low angle operations. Their training has included silos, radio towers, water towers, along with typical rescues found 's in their local terrain. Ontariosteam is made up of four fire company's: Cheshire, Clifton Springs, Naples and Richmond. Also Joining in the training was a team from Highland Fire Company. All told there were 33 fire fighters in total taking part in the drill. Everyone had fun and learned a lot. We are looking forward to future cross training drills.
